This page explains what the Celine Pool Villa Cha-Am website (celinepoolvillachaam.com) keeps in your browser, what analytics it loads, and how to change your choice. The site is run by the villa's management. For anything on this page, email [email protected].
The short version
- The site works fully without any tracking.
- It loads Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity only after you press “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you decline, or ignore the banner, neither is loaded.
- No advertising, no data selling, and no other third-party scripts.
Kept in your browser (no consent needed)
These use your browser's local storage. They stay on your device, are not sent to us or anyone else, and you can clear them at any time (see Your choice).
- Theme choice — whether you picked the light or dark version
(
celine.theme). - Booking draft — the enquiry you build in the booking form, plus
your name, email and phone so you don't retype them next visit
(
celine.enquiries,celine.guest). This is only used to fill in the form and the enquiry email that you send from your own mail app — the website has no server that receives it. - Your cookie choice — so the banner doesn't ask again
(
celine.consent).
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you press Accept, the site loads two tools:

Google Analytics 4, provided by Google. Aggregate visitor
numbers, which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (country / region)
and which devices they use. It sets cookies whose names start with
_ga. Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address. Data is processed by Google on our behalf — see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services. -
Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft. Anonymised recordings
of page interactions — mouse movement, clicks, scrolling — plus heatmaps, so we
can see where the site is confusing. Text you type and the contents of
form fields are masked and are not captured. It sets cookies whose names
start with
_clckand_clsk. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
We use this only to improve the site. It is never combined with your booking enquiry.
Your choice
You can also:
- Clear the local storage and cookies for this site in your browser (Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings; Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data; Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data).
- Use a content blocker — the analytics tools load from
googletagmanager.comandclarity.msand are easy to block.
The booking form
The booking form does not send anything on its own. It checks your dates, shows an estimate, saves the draft in your browser, and opens your email app with a message pre-filled. The enquiry only reaches us if you press send in your own mail app. We then use your message to reply and, if you book, to arrange your stay.
Changes to this page
If the tools or data we use change, we'll update this page and the “last updated” date. A material change will also reset the cookie banner so you can choose again.
